About Jane Ramachandran

My art "career" officially began in the fall of 2010 when I enrolled in a watercolor class taught by Kate Fitzsimons sponsored by San Diego Continuing Education classes mostly for seniors 55+.    Then in the spring of 2011, I enrolled in the Portraiture Class and in the fall of 2011 in the Landscape and Still Life class--both classes taught by Perrietta Hester who retired this year.  I always liked art through the school years and Perrietta inspired me to a higher level to continue with other instructors.    I became a member of the San Diego Portrait Society.  I had the opportunity with other students to participate in a show "Figuratively Speaking" at the La Jolla Art Gallery in 2011.  I am a member of the Clairemont Art Guild.  Since Perrietta retired this year, I have four new instructors whom I find very challenge.  Contact Jane at: 858-467-1557.
